Pilgrim Screw has been presented with the Environmental Merit Award by the Narragansett Bay Commission again this year.  This award is presented to companies "who have achieved perfect regulatory compliance and outstanding pollution prevention in the previous year."  In 2008 only 16 of the 1500 permitted users in Rhode Island were honored with this award.  This is the sixth year that Pilgrim has won this award.
